We went to the pediatrician for Lauren's 9 month check up on Friday. Alli came as moral support and as Lauren's personal entertainment. Alli is the best big sister any little sister could ask for. She's always so kind and loving towards Lauren. Alli can always make Lauren laugh, which is a good thing at the doctor's office. I'm so proud of Alli...with all the extra attention Lauren needs...Alli rarely gets upset or jealous.
We didn't get to see her regular pediatrician, Dr. Godwin who had a horse accident. Instead, we saw Dr. Wilson who's seen Alli many times. The good news is that Lauren didn't have to get any shots, which hasn't happened in a long time! Dr. Wilson was pleased with Lauren's growth and put her on amoxicillin and benadryl since she has had so much snot.
Lauren's 9 month stats:
Weight: 20lbs 4.5oz (75th percentile)
Height: 29in. (90th percentile)
Head: 18in (90th percentile)
Alli's stats at 9 mos:
Weight: 21lbs 10.5oz
Height: 28in
Head: 17.5in
So, basically Lauren is longer and leaner than Alli was at 9mos.
