After being pestered for a family pic, we went over the weekend and had them done (Chris and I haven't had any pictures done since we got married). We also had Alli's 2 year pics made while we were there.
It's been a while...sorry. No excuses. I guess I've just been lazy. Chris is doing much better. No more chest pains! Yay! Best of all, we've all been well for about 3 weeks now (knocking on wood)!!
We finally got the snow they had been predicting...about 3.5 inches! I wish it could have been on a week day! It sure was pretty though!
We're starting to prepare for Alli's birthday. The BIG number 2 is coming up in March. We're having an Elmo themed party this year. And, I will attempt an Elmo cake! If you hadn't guessed, Alli is in love with Elmo! We're getting her an Elmo tricycle for her birthday...it even plays Elmo music. I'm sure after a few days of hearing it constantly, we'll be kicking ourselves.
I am busy studying for the Praxis. I will be taking it in March (the same weekend as Alli's party...crazy of me, I know)! I had forgotten just how much I dislike the Kreb's Cycle, taxonomy, and cell division! For those of you who don't know...(as long as I pass the Praxis Biology and General Science Exam) I will be starting the SC PACE program, and will be teaching science to high schoold students, so fingers are crossed! Prayers will be greatly appreciated! I forgot how hard it is to study...especially when you haven't done it in about 10 years! Teaching the Bio class at Tri-County has been quite helpful, and also a good review. I am actually finding that I enjoy it...that's a good sign!
