I know, I've been slack...but here's a big one

So, what been happening since the end of May you ask?  Well, I'll hit the highlights...
Alli went with Mrs. Kay and Violet to "Touch a Truck" in downtown Greenville.  The kids could climb all over any of the city vehicles they wanted.  When the girls went 2 years ago, Alli was gung-ho about getting on all of them.  This time she was more apprehensive about getting on the ones with people in uniforms.  She was especially stand-off-ish about the police vehicles...that's probably my fault because whenever we see police, she always asks what they are doing and I usually tell her they are giving someone a ticket, so I think she now has a bad association with the police.

We have also been growing zucchini, grape tomatoes, and heirloom tomatoes.  Alli LOVES to water the plants, and pick the veggies off the vine.  There for a while, we had zucchini coming out of our ears, now it's the grape tomatoes...she loves picking them right off the vine and eating them.  Hopefully, next week we'll get to enjoy some BLT's with the heirlooms!
We've been attending Alli's "church school" for church.  I think since we know a lot more people there, we feel more at home, and it's a much smaller church than 1st Pres.  Alli's gotten to be good friends with, Kenlee, one of her school classmates who also goes there.  We've been enjoying doing a lot with them on the weekends.

I'm doing well.  As of today, I'm 38 weeks and 2 days pregnant.  I've started having some strong braxton hix contractions, which I don't remember with Alli.  All I can say is, it's been a HOT summer!  I'm still measuring small, so last week, they did an ultrasound of "Pedro."  And, yes, her name will be "Pedro" until she gets here.  That's how it was with Alli...she was "Paco" until she got here.  And, it looks like she's just going to be small, everything was fine, thank goodness.  I think we're ready!  We're all excited to meet her, and Alli's ready to be a big sister!  Can you see her profile?  Most of the pics the tech got were her feet.  She was uncooperative (she gets that from Chris).  She kept her hands up over her face practically the whole time.  Alli was with me at this appointment...she was more interested in the spinning stool!

Last weekend, we took Alli for one last "mini" vacation as just the 3 of us...we told her it was "Pedro's" idea. We went to Atlanta and went to the Georgia Aquarium and the Children's Museum.  We also took her to eat at The Varsity.  We all had a fun time.

"Pedro" will be here on Wed., July 25th at 1:30pm, unless she has other plans...so, knowing my slackness, these will probably be the last pics of just the 3 of us!
