We told Alli that July 4th was America's birthday, and she asked how old it was, so we told her two hundred and thirty five. She then asked how many that was, and we told her 23-tens and a five, so she now says "twenty three-five."
We had a busy 4th of July long weekend! On Sat., Alli and I went and picked blueberries and blackberries at Happy Berry Farms. Alli mainly ate them right off the bush...there's no telling how many she put away! In-between swimming at Tim and Angie's, Alli asked if we would get out the sprinkler. She enjoyed running through it too. Chris decided to smoke some meat (ribs, brisket, and sausage), and so we invited the Buzzells over to partake in the "meat-fest!" Alli loves when Uncle Buzzell and Ana come over...she gets all the attention. This year, we even bought a few fireworks. Chris could only buy the quiet ones since Alli isn't a fan of loud noises...she still put her hands over her ears. She liked the sparklers best!
