Sorry it has been a while since my last post, but as usual, the new year has been off to a rough start for The Sielicki's. Chris started having chest pains and ended up in the ER not once, but twice already. It started as the doctors thinking he had pleurisy then they thought it was a pulmonary embolism, and now they are thinkinging pericarditis. The pain has gotten a little better, but is still there. Chris goes back to the cariologist tomorrow for a nuclear stress test to see how things are doing. Bless his heart...he can't have Dr. Pepper again until Thurs. Those of you who know Chris, know he has to have his Dr. Pepper EVERYDAY!
Last week, my poor Alli came down with pneumonia. She never acted like she felt bad...she was wheezing and could hardly catch her breath. The doctor couldn't believe she was so playful and also not running a fever for how sick she was. She is finally getting over it, but still has a nasty cough.
Januarys are never good for the Sielicki's. Apparently we need to be need to be like bears and hibernate for the winter!
In other news, I am teaching at Tri-County Tech as an adjunct professor. I am teaching a Bio 101 lab. Classes started last week. I think I got off to a good start...by the end of the night, I think everyone finally knew what a beaker was! This week, we're on to molar solutions!
